Cassia alata Seeds (Candlestick Bush)
Candlestick Bush (Cassia alata), also known as Ringworm Bush, is a perennial flowering plant native to the tropics. Its striking appearance is characterized by tall stems covered in bright yellow flowers that resemble candlesticks, hence its common name. This plant is typically 6 to 9 feet tall and can spread up to 6 feet wide. Candlestick Bush is hardy in USDA zones 9 to 11. It is propagated through Cassia alata seeds, which require warm temperatures and well-draining soil to germinate successfully. This species is often used medicinally to treat skin conditions, thanks to its antibacterial and antifungal properties.
