Nepeta cataria Seeds (White Catmint)
Catmint, scientifically known as Nepeta cataria, is a perennial herbaceous plant with a reputation for attracting cats. It has jagged, heart-shaped leaves and small, tubular, white flowers. Also referred to as catnip or catmint, it grows in a bushy form and typically reaches around 2 to 3 feet in height. Catmint is hardy and can be grown in USDA hardiness zones 3 to 9. Gardeners interested in cultivating this plant can obtain Nepeta cataria seeds, which can be sown either indoors or directly in the garden for successful germination.
