Germinating Cardinal Flower Flower Seeds
To germinate Lobelia cardinalis, start by sowing the seeds on the surface of a moist growing medium. Maintain a temperature of around 70-75°F (21-24°C) and provide indirect light. Keep the soil consistently moist until the seeds germinate, which usually takes about 10-14 days.
We source all of our Lobelia cardinalis seeds from a small greenhouse facility based in southeastern Maine and store them in a dark, temperature-controlled environment before shipment. You’ll find that our fresh Cardinal Flower seeds are much easier to germinate than the mass-produced packets of flower seeds found in stores! If you have any trouble growing Cardinal Flower seeds, we’re happy to send you additional gardening tips. In the (unlikely) event that your Lobelia cardinalis seeds do not germinate at all, we’ll give you a full refund, no questions asked.
We offer this variety on Etsy, eBay, and Amazon, as well!
