Echium vulgare Seeds (Vipers Bugloss)
Echium vulgare, commonly known as “viper’s bugloss” or “blueweed,” is a biennial or perennial wildflower native to Europe and Asia. It features striking spires of bright blue to purple flowers with protruding red stamens, creating a distinctive appearance. This hardy plant adapts to USDA hardiness zones 3-8 and thrives in well-drained soil and full sun. Mature plants can reach heights of 1-4 feet and readily self-seed. Echium vulgare seeds are easily obtainable for cultivation, making it a popular choice among wildflower enthusiasts and pollinator-friendly gardens, as it attracts bees and butterflies with its nectar-rich blooms.
