Dictamnus albus Seeds (Gas Plant)
Dictamnus albus, commonly known as Gas Plant or Burning Bush, is a perennial herb. It features attractive, deeply serrated, dark green foliage and produces showy spikes of fragrant, pale pink to white, star-shaped flowers in late spring to early summer. The intriguing feature of “Burning Bush” is its flammable oils, which can be ignited by a match, giving the plant its name. Mature plants reach heights of 24-36 inches. Dictamnus albus is suited for USDA hardiness zones 3-8, thriving in well-drained soil and full sun.
