Artemisia frigida, commonly known as Fringed Sagebrush, is a herbaceous perennial plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. It forms compact tufts of silvery-gray foliage with deeply divided leaves. In summer, it produces clusters of small, yellow flowers that attract pollinators. Fringed Sagebrush is native to North America and can be found in regions with dry, sandy or rocky soils. It is well-adapted to the harsh climates of USDA hardiness zones 3 to 9. Artemisia frigida seeds can be planted in well-draining soil, and the mature plant typically reaches a height of 6 to 18 inches.
