Amorpha fruticosa Seeds (False Indigo)
False Indigo (Amorpha fruticosa), also known as Indigo Bush or Desert False Indigo, is a deciduous shrub native to North America. It typically grows 6 to 10 feet tall with multiple stems, forming a dense and bushy habit. The plant features grayish-green, alternate, and pinnately compound leaves, which give it a delicate appearance. False Indigo produces beautiful spikes of purple, pea-like flowers that attract butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. It can thrive in a wide range of soils and is adaptable to various growing conditions. False Indigo is hardy in USDA zones 4 to 9 and can be propagated through Amorpha fruticosa seeds.

We source all of our Amorpha fruticosa seeds from a small greenhouse facility based in southeastern Maine and store them in a dark, temperature-controlled environment before shipment.
