Alcea rosea, commonly known as White Hollyhock, is a cultivated plant species in the Malvaceae family. Its tall stalks can reach heights up to 6 feet, adorned with large, showy white flowers. The flowers bloom in clusters along the stalks and have a distinctive hollyhock shape with five petals. White Hollyhock is a biennial or short-lived perennial that has been extensively bred for its beautiful flowers and is highly popular in gardens. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil. Germinating White Hollyhock Flower Seeds

To germinate Alcea rosea, also known as Hollyhocks, soak the seeds overnight in water. Plant them in well-drained soil, covering lightly with a thin layer of soil. Keep soil consistently moist until seedlings appear, then gradually reduce watering.
