Allium cernuum Seeds (Nodding Onion)
Nodding Onion (Allium cernuum), also known as Lady’s Leek or Wild Onion, is a perennial herbaceous plant native to North America. It possesses slender, arching stems that bear delicate pinkish-purple flowers in umbels at their tips. Its leaves are linear and grass-like, and the plant reaches a height of around 12-18 inches. Nodding Onion is adaptable and can grow in a variety of conditions, from full sun to partial shade, and in various soil types. It is hardy in USDA zones 4-8. Propagation is typically done through Allium cernuum seeds, which develop in small spherical capsules after flowering.
